Lily was rescued from a high kill shelter with her 5 newborn puppies. Lily was an exceptional mom to her babies, but they have outgrown mom and all but one have left for new homes and Lily is ready for a home of her own. Lily is the only dog ever to come out of raising puppies fat and sassy...she loves to eat! She needs a home where she can do some walking or she will be rolling down the sidewalk. She's a very fun companion who loves being a couch potato and she is a bit of a Diva. She gets along with other dogs and cats, but we've noticed her not liking her rear feet touched...so for that reason we don't recommend her for a home with small children where someone might get nipped for handling her. She has been very good about walking on a leash, walking off a leash, but can be stubborn and has her own agenda at times. She loves car rides and hiking and is just a fun dog. We think she is 2-3 years old and she can be very playful. Lily's adoption fee is $275 to help cover the costs of getting her ready for adoption.
